Exit Fee continued his impressive progression with a determined victory in the Benchmark 78 at Randwick on Saturday, August 8, holding out stablemate Kreon to secure a memorable first and second for the team. The win was the five-year-old’s fourth career victory.

The Randwick success also pushed Exit Fee’s total stake-money earnings to an impressive $370,000, a fitting reward for a horse who has continued to build a strong record through consistency and determination.

He was again able to produce his best when it mattered, showing a good turn of foot and plenty of resolve to get the job done.

Kreon was equally impressive in defeat and continued what has been a consistent run of form. The placing was his second city finish from his last four starts, highlighting his reliability at the metropolitan level and his ability to continue competing strongly against quality opposition.
